Brazilian companies will attend business mission in the United States, promoted by the government of Connecticut and Paseli

An important center of technology and innovation, the state of Connecticut, in the United States, will be the destination of Brazilian executives who are preparing to take part in a business mission at the end of July (27-30). The initiative aims to strengthen trade ties and open doors in the North American market, the world’s largest in the target segments of the mission: aerospace, medical devices and information technology.

The delegation will visit companies, incubators, meet with local entrepreneurs and will undergo training on immigration, taxes, regulation, in order to understand how to start a business in the United States and have access to resources and financial incentives offered by the State of Connecticut. Interested in joining the party can sign up for free until 7/15 by sending an e-mail to claudia@paseliconsulting.com

Solid economy, clear rules, aggressive financial incentives, skilled labor and prime location are some of the attractions that have caused Brazilian companies to choose to settle in Connecticut. The support provided to executives by the government, both in the US and in Brazil through local representation provided by Paseli, has been seen an important factor for companies when choosing the site of the future branch.

Last May, Jason Giulietti, vice president of Business Recruitment Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC), an entity linked to the state of Connecticut, was in Brazil promoting Connecticut as a destination for international investment. On the occasion, the executive met with executives from the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster and the Technology Park of São José dos Campos. As a result, at least four aerospace companies will attend the event, including a representative from Technological Park of São José dos Campos. Companies from information technology and medical device industries are also confirmed, including representatives from ABIMO, Brazil’s top association of medical device companies.
