Hub in Connecticut attracts Brazilian companies

On Monday, a ribbon cutting will officially open Hub55, an office for Brazilian companies to begin operations in New Haven, Connecticut. Several companies and associations from Brazil traveling to the USA to attend the three day event.

Hub55 is an initiative of Paseli Consulting in partnership with Brazilian and North American entities, including Brazil’s Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications, the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software (SOFTEX), the Brazilian Association of Medical, Dental, Hospital and Laboratory Equipment Industries (ABIMO), and the Technology Park of Sao Jose dos Campus, that comprised Brazil’s Aerospace Cluster.

At the Hub55, companies will have access to a furnished and shared office, located in the heart of Yale University – two hours from Boston and New York. Member companies will have the support they need to build their business plan and prospect customers and partners while experiencing the U.S. market. In addition, the hub will offer bilingual administrative support, and networking with investors, associations, and government entities.

The office will be a space for the exchange of ideas, experiences and contacts to expand Brazil’s participation in the global scenario. “We are pleased to work in partnership with Paseli to welcome Brazilian companies to Connecticut and foster growth for our many innovative and creative companies,” said CERC President and CEO Robert Santy.  “Hub55 benefits Brazil’s and Connecticut’s long-term economic viability.”
