Prumo, the company that has developed Açu Port, in Rio de Janeiro, announced today that the US company Edison Chouest Offshore opted to use the last two options in their area. The company also decided to add another 40 meters of quay, increasing its total area to 597,400 m². Founded in Louisiana, in 1960, Edison Chouest is recognized today as the most diverse and dynamic supplier of offshore shipping solutions in the world. The company operates a fleet of over 230 ships, serving a global and expanding customer base. In Brazil, the company has 70 offshore marine support vessels and a shipyard in Navegantes, Santa Catarina, where it builds six vessels per year.
